Daddy 05:39
Are you in some kind of trouble? Your Daddy looks awful mad to me Did she lie about where she stayed last night? I guess Daddy, Daddy don’t agree! Do it all for her! Be right back! Let the boss take over As a matter of fact Get away From the door Sniveling shit Learn a lesson And don’t come back! What’s your problem? Get out of the house Take your stuff with you And while you’re at it Give her all your money Give her all your money Give her all your money Give her all your money Give her all your money (Gold digging) Gold dig her way out! You don’t seem to be very happy Your Mummy seems oh-so-sad to me! Did she make up things about Daddy? Because Daddy (Daddy) don’t agree! What did he do? To deserve your shit Offered an arrangement But it didn’t fit In your plans To ruin his life Your selfish needs Don’t you understand? You’re his fucking wife! Piggy in the middle Like bait for a fish Hook in mouth Served up on a dish Cold like sushi Calm as a mill pond I’ve never known such a calculating witch Psychopathic Gold digging bitch There are things you need to know about Mum & Daddy (There are things you need to know about Mum & Daddy) There are things they don’t talk about at school (There are things they don’t talk about at school) There’s no time, so much haste and a lot of time to waste (There’s no time, so much haste and a lot of time to waste) Prefer to wage a war and cause trouble Have you had enough Ten more rounds As strong as a an ox And she likes to box And she won’t ever stop Less you’re down and out And you head’s a mess And there’s no one left about To care about your side Of the story and the truth A washed up wreck Of a man in a noose Hanging from a branch Of the Monkey Puzzle tree With a gun in his hand One dead out of three The tragedy The tragedy Why does it have to be? We’ve lost ability We no longer know how to feel What we no longer need

Glass 08:22
Verse Help me with the shopping You’ll have to go without Car is running on empty There’s a lot of it about Empty the recycling bin Order groceries online A storm front coming in Another bottle of red wine (Time waits for no man) Cash in your last cheque (Time waits for no man) Tie the rope around your neck (Time waits for no man) Raise you head high in the air (Time waits for no man) But you don’t seem to care Chorus Sometimes it seems so sad, I almost cry But I found you and you gave me a reason why Shattered mirror through which we stare Eternal questions, but we don’t care

Steam 05:39
[it’s really gettin’ to me (repeat throughout)] We’ve all been there A bad day at work Your cat died Your Mum & Dad lied The bastards Teacher’s got a new pet Exam time, don’t fret Bill Gates dropped out And I hear he did okay Get home, your feet up? Argue about this And that And nothing at all There is no shame To admit It pisses you off and That’s when we all agree Things they get me down I’m sure they do you The damn things just won’t go away So at the end of the week When I’m feeling concrete I blow the damn wall out the way Out the way I’m gonna vent some Steam, steam Ha Ha Haa, I’m gonna vent some steam, steam I said steam, steam Oh I said steam, steam

I Could Just 02:41
I see you looking in the mirror See you looking at me You are not quite where you thought you would be I could just Ooh! Standing on my soapbox Staring straight at the wall A million different faces that don’t know me at all I could just Aah! Circumnavigate the seas In my little boat More like going round and round and trying to stay afloat I could just Ooh! Standing in the dock Your honour give me a drink Let us try to forget and let us try not to think I could just Aah!

Limbs 08:04
Verse 1 Bodies, lying on the ground The stench of death is all around Family broken, torn apart Sinking feeling in your heart Mother crying, shed a tear Father’s, gripped by the fear Time stands still, just for a while All your emotions put on trial Anger, revenge, a bitter pill Twisted nightmare but for real Takes a while as time stands still The pain inside makes you so ill Rage within is taking hold You never knew you’d feel so old Check in, check out and don’t pass go You never felt so low Cling together, carry on Realise, they are gone Reveal the strength from deep within To smile again it’s not a sin Traumatise but feel alive Let dark light in and let it thrive Regurgitate, bring up the past Good memories are meant to last Chorus Limbs that connect and divide us They provide us With a sense of harmony Limbs that connect and complete us They need us Verse 2 Don’t get stuck in tragedy Remove the visor then you’ll see The warm embrace of community We play with mediocrity Knows no bounds Pushed around (but we) Rejoice, make a wonderful sound Connected, productivity A dream of utopia that will (never) be Push and pull, back and forth All for one and seize the day One for all and feel the force Your culture does show you the way Now aren’t you glad you found the time To act the horse in a pantomime The simple genius of a rhyme Or when not to

Your alarm clock is broken And you’re running late You’re so very tired Because you stayed up late You missed the bus Now you’re late for work Who you gonna blame? Blame the government You jumped the lights Drunk on a Sunday morning The signs on the road Didn’t give you a warning Your brand new car Goes from zero to prison Who you gonna blame? The Enemy 05:21
Bury your head in the dirt and plant a seed, Let the roots roam free Create an army to question authority Stir yourself awake from still life apathy From our self-induced comas because that’s where we’d rather be (Vs 2) What is it that makes us want to be a part of a crowd? What makes us want to raise our one voice loud? Start a revolution in the back of a transit van? March up to parliament and question (the man)? Lies and cynicism are the enemy That already emanates from the powers that be Blame the man by all means do, But the only one to blame, the one to blame is you (I said) Lies and cynicism are the enemy

about

Chameleon is somewhat of a departure from just political and social commentary. The music is gnarly introspection. An obtuse meditation on musings about depression, anxiety, narcissism and apathy. It is an album that defies categorisation, even by Anon's standards.
